At Fictionable, we’re always on the lookout for the most exciting voices, so we’d love to read your work. We are a very small team and we like to read carefully, so it can take us a while, but take a look around and see what kind of thing we like.
We’re keen to hear from perspectives that are currently under-represented in English and American letters, and we’re also looking for material written in languages other than English. At the moment we can only commission in English and French, but if you have work in other languages that you think would be right for Fictionable then send us a version in English and we’ll take a look.
We also understand that graphic fiction is complicated on the internet. If you’d like your graphic fiction to appear in Fictionable, drop us a line with some thoughts about how your story could work best on readers’ phones, tablets, laptops or smart toasters and we’ll sort out something sensible.
Just email submissions to us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
We can’t consider work that’s been published anywhere else, but we’re happy to take a look at simultaneous submissions, so long as you tell us if you manage to place it somewhere else before we get to it.
Writers and translators are paid at publication.
